Reporting to the Warehouse supervisor, the purpose of this role includes a wide variety of operational / warehouse activities such as order picking/packing, goods inwards/outwards, monthly stock checks, maintaining warehouse cleanliness and other ad hoc duties in line with company targets and ensuring compliance with cGDP and Company policies and procedures. This role will work closely with the auxiliary teams, including Supply Chain, Maintenance, Quality, Sales and R&D, to achieve agreed business goals in line with the company strategy.
Key Role Specific Requirements:
- Accurately Perform Order picking and packing duties as assigned.
- Forklift Driving Duties – loading/ unloading deliveries and collections. Loading/unloading racking in the warehouse.
- Responsible for the collection and transportation of manufactured goods from the Airton Close facility to the finished goods warehouse using the company van.
- Collaborate with the logistics coordinator by generating packing lists for export orders, updating the export order status, and filing all export order documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization all warehouse areas and promptly report any concerns to the warehouse supervisor.
- Adhere to all record-keeping procedures, ensuring all records are appropriately signed/initialed and dated.
- Comply with health and hygiene regulations.
- Wear the provided work attire appropriate for specific job functions.
- Maintain stock levels and correct segmentation of stock in warehouse zones.
- Labelling and Booking stock onto QAD and the company’s barcoding system.
- Uploading outbound orders onto UPS, Dachser, and An Post portals.
- Quality checking picked orders before dispatch in line with cGMP and company standard operational procedures (SOPs)
- Liaising with the customer service team regarding customer and stock queries and investigating any complaints.
- Ensuring current Good Warehousing Practices are always adhered to in the finished goods warehouse in line with legislation and industry standards.
- Ensure Health and Safety is given a high priority within all areas and all activities are carried out in a safe manner.
- Record, display and report on all Key Performance Indicators in a timely manner.
- Complete duties assigned by warehouse supervisor.
- Report deviations from batch records, SOPs and validated parameters in an efficient in a timely manner.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and activities to enhance compliance, productivity or costs.
- Part-take in monthly stock cycle counts in the warehouse.

Essential:
· Leaving Cert or equivalent
· Good understanding of both spoken and written English.
· 1+ years factory/warehouse experience.
· Valid counterbalance and narrow aisle forklift license
· An understanding of compliance, warehousing, and distribution operations
· Ability to multitask and prioritize.
· Self-motivation and initiative with energy and enthusiasm to develop the role.
· Ability to take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution.
· Good Interpersonal skills, building strong working with relationships with stakeholders both internal and external.
· Strong people skills with the ability to work in a cross functional team.
Desirable:
· Experience working in non-sterile manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
· Experience working in a Warehouse Pick/Pack and Order Dispatch warehouse.
· Experience working in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food industries or similar industry.
· Experience working with inventory management systems.
· IT proficient – MS excel.
· Analytical knowledge, understanding and approach to tasks & problem solving.
