Purpose of the Position/ Role Summary:


Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to manage the accounts payable function of a number of group companies within Bimeda to ensure that vendors/suppliers accounts are up to date, accounted for correctly and paid in line with group payment policy and group payment terms.


Key Role Specific Requirements:


·       Posting of stock and service invoices via an automated AP module for multiple companies

·       Setting up and maintenance of new and existing creditor accounts

·       Taking and resolving any queries relating to invoices in a timely manner

·       Ensuring invoices are appropriately approved for payment

·       Reconciliation of supplier accounts

·       Supplier payments

·       Running the aged creditors listings at month end across all entities (three)

·       Posting of intercompany invoices

·       Processing finance approvals for staff expenses – Rydoo system

·       Monthly bank reconciliations and postings for bank accounts

·       Involvement in the year-end statutory audit

·       Continuous improvement of finance processes

·       Filing and general administrative/office duties

·       Execute any other tasks as required by the Finance Team

Other Requirements:

Essential:
•    Minimum of one/two years’ experience in an AP Environment.

Desirable:
•    A high level of Excel (and other MS office modules) proficiency will be a distinct advantage.
•    Experience working in a multi-company environment would be advantageous.
•    Experience using an automated accounts payable system is preferred.
